The exterior is modest and unimposing, while the interior offers a rich and vibrant sequence of spaces. Dominating the interior is a double height living space with seating and dining area. This open plan room has large areas of glazing to maximise the views.

A spiralling staircase accesses a balcony area which has been turned into an office and reading area. Here, one can gaze over the warm living space and appreciate the prominent crown-post truss and the repeated rafter and collar construction which create a unifying ceiling-scape to the space below.
