We’re proud to announce that Vernacular Homes has become a member of the Federation of Master Builders (FMB), the UK’s largest trade association for small and medium-sized building companies.
Achieving membership means we have passed the FMB’s entry checks, including checks on trading and credit history, public liability insurance and an independent inspection of our work. Members must also follow the FMB Code of Conduct and are monitored throughout membership.
For our clients this provides an additional level of reassurance when choosing us as their builder. FMB members are expected to provide clear quotations and contracts, communicate regularly, meet health and safety requirements and maintain high professional standards throughout a project, these are principles that have always been central to the way we work.
Vernacular Homes Managing Director Oliver Burgess commented:
“Any building project is a significant undertaking, and clients naturally have concerns around budget, programme, workmanship and communication. We have always aimed to provide a clear, professional service from the first conversation through to completion and this is reflected in the feedback we receive.
Joining the FMB reinforces that commitment and gives our clients further confidence that their project is in capable hands.”
Whether you are planning a new build, renovation, extension or barn conversion we will continue to combine thoughtful design, skilled craftsmanship and attentive project management.
