Edward Burgess

Edward previously worked in Construction project management and set up Vernacular Homes in October 2000 alongside his wife, Lynda, brother-in-law, Trevor and Trevor’s wife, Lisa. His role today is to oversee projects to the point of handover, ensuring that standards and quality of finish are maintained throughout. He liaises with employees and clients and places great value on seeing everyone he works alongside as friends, treating them all with kindness and respect.

Having worked on the practical side of the business within site management, he has gained invaluable experience and knowledge over the years.

Married to Lynda in our accounts team and father to Ashley and Oliver, he enjoys spending time with his family, as well as gardening. He is also an active member of his local church and cites The Bible as his favourite book.
