Oliver Burgess

Vernacular Homes was Oliver’s first employer since leaving education and he has been with the company since 2004. During this time, he has held positions as a labourer, site manager, assistant site manager and architectural technician, and now holds a BA (Hons) in Quantity Surveying as well as completing a Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS), and Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS). He has also completed first aid and asbestos awareness training.

Now a Director, his long service with the company has allowed him to build up a wealth of valuable experience in managing bespoke residential projects. He is highly skilled at project planning from inception to handover and is committed to providing a high-quality service delivered on time and on budget. Oliver builds relationships with clients, contractors and other professionals involved in a job, and keeping everyone updated at all stages.

In his spare time, Oliver enjoys spending time with his wife, Charlotte, who works with us as an administrator, and their three children. He’s a keen footballer and plays five-a-side. One of his favourite books is Willis’s Elements of Quantity Surveying 13th Edition.
